Therese is a Master Nutrition Therapist, having graduated in 2017 from Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, Colorado. While at NTI, Therese spent 100 hours interning in a functional medicine practice, acquiring a deeper understanding of using nutrition to help rebalance the body. Therese’s journey to NTI included her own brush with autoimmunity. Her independent projects at NTI focused on how autoimmunity occurs in the body, and how nutrition and lifestyle contribute to managing symptoms.
Therese lives in the Denver area, where she runs her private practice, Live Bright Nutrition Therapy. She is a professional member of the National Association for Nutrition Professionals (NANP) and is a NANP Board Certified candidate. Her continuing education has focused on functional medicine techniques and hormone rebalancing.
Prior to becoming a holistic nutritionist, Therese spent 15 years in the private and public sectors as an industrial/organizational psychologist. Pausing to stay home with her kids, she became a master gardener volunteer and started a community garden in her neighborhood. An avid organic food gardener, she has a passion for food quality and growing nutrient-dense foods. She is a wife and mother and understands the challenges of eating well in the world we live in. She is dedicated to teaching people how to tap into their best health and happiness through individualized, targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
